Abstract

Kerstin Gerlach ist eine Tierärztin mit einer außerplanmäßigen Professur, die seit 2007 an der Universität Leipzig angestellt ist. Unter Leitung von Prof. Dr. Walter Brehm ist sie für die Abteilung der Bildgebenden Diagnostik der Klinik für Pferde zuständig und arbeitet im Routinebereitschaftsdienst mit. Ihr wurde eine außerplanmäßige Professur verliehen.

Sie lehrt und prüft in den Fächern Radiologie sowie Chirurgie und Anästhesiologie.

Ihr methodisches Spektrum umfasst alle Untersuchungen für Pferde der Radiologie, wie Röntgen- und Ultraschalldiagnostik, Computer- und Magnetresonanztomographie sowie szintigraphische Diagnostik.
