Institute information

The Institute of Immunology, embedded in the ZIM and located at the BBZ, deals with issues in the field of veterinary immunology in particular and is currently involved in the two research focuses EMBI and Neuro-Vet-Net of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

The Center for Infectious Diseases is an association of four preclinical institutes of veterinary medicine, which consider infectiological questions from different perspectives, bacteriology, mycology, parasitology, virology and immunology.

The core unit Flow Cytometry offers modern equipment for multifactorial single cell analysis and physical sorting of cell populations under S2 conditions (according to the German Genetic Engineering Act, the Infection Protection Act and the Biological Substances Ordinance).
