The Institute of Immunology has existed at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine since 1996 and has since become an integral part of the Centre for Infectious Diseases. Due to the excellent conditions at our institute, our PhD students have already received several prizes and awards.

Training Centre Specialist Veterinarian Immunology - 2003
Extension by the professorship for Molecular Pathogenesis at the BBZ with Prof. Dr. Manfred Blessing (until 2013) - 2004
Acceptance of the Institute of Immunology into the Center for Infection Medicine - 2007
